What's his name is doing the thing with the custom Minnesota bicycles again, you should check it out; it's both Friday and Saturday. There's a big bachelor party happening on Saturday so you should probably go on Friday.

Bob Brown is going to be there, which is cool because he wasn't there last year. Should be good for all.

Stolen Bike Alert 2010

Schreiner is no stranger to getting his bike stolen, though he technically gave that cross-check away.

From Schreiner, "the gazelle was stole of my porch sunday morning lock and all. please help a brother get it back."

The last time I was on his porch, this was going on:

Kevin Scott, a Scotsman nonetheless, put his brains together and came up with a bicycle that folds in half when tension is relieved from cables in the down- and top-tubes. The bicycle only goes back together when the correct 'key' is used to retension the cables, thus making the bicycle useless without this key.

And a singlespeed no doubt; would have won a few extra hipster points for being fixed though.

And while Kevin now lives in Britain, he surely must be a fan of the British humour:

Reflections on the Rose Sausage Party (New Version 2010)

Meanwhile B-Rose himself is usually found near his nearly 100-pounds of handmade and stuffed sausage. Carnivores I know seem to think he does a good job at what he does each year.


You'd better ride your bicycle if you plan on attending a party with 300-400 people; take that parking garages!






Several of the neighbors must have been lighting off illegal fireworks; none of my God fearing acquaintances would have done such a thing as violate any laws.


Most of the usuals made it along with a healthy dose of new friends.
